Ideal for applications requiring high strength, high reliability and non-burning solutions, HellermannTyton’s MBT range of stainless-steel cable ties deliver durability, safety and confidence.

Made for wind and solar power installations, agricultural machinery and for use in the chemical industries and on oil platforms, the range is suitable for a wide range of applications including machine building, construction, ship building, mining and data centres.

HellermannTyton’s comprehensive MBT cable tie range is available in Stainless Steel grades SS304 and SS316L, boasting greater corrosion resistance – across standard, coated, and double-wrap versions, with a tensile strength of up to 7000N.

In a statement, Ken Dunn, Commercial Product Manager at HellermannTyton, said: “Our UL 62275 certified MBT range of stainless steel cable ties gives you peace of mind, globally recognised and tested to the highest safety and performance standards, Trust that’s Certified.

“As the first of our cable tie portfolio to feature a non-releasable ball-locking mechanism, our customers can benefit from a strong and durable cable tie that will stand the test of time, in even the most challenging conditions.”

The uncoated versions boast all-weather suitability, can handle extreme temperatures, and are non-magnetic. They are also corrosion and chemical-resistant and can withstand high mechanical and load stress.

Meanwhile, the coated version is available in Stainless Steel grade SS316L with a polyester coating. These boast an easy outdoor installation, prevent contact corrosion and are gentle on sensitive bundles.

All versions have been short-circuit tested against the ICE 61439-1 standard and passes, making the MBTs a highly cost-effective alternative to standard cable cleats.
