For almost 30 years, Helix has built its reputation as a trusted technical partner to manufacturers across the aerospace, automotive, medical, power generation and general engineering sectors.

The new Blackburn branch is set to strengthen the company’s ability to support these industries locally – providing faster access to precision tooling, technical expertise and on-site support, it said.

“Opening in Blackburn represents a significant step forward for Helix,” Paul Lynch, Managing Director of Helix Tool Company, said in a statement. “We’ve seen growing demand from North West manufacturers who value technical knowledge, quick response times and a keen focus on productivity improvements and cost reductions in challenging market conditions. This expansion allows our engineers to be right where these customers need us - closer, faster and more responsive than ever.”

The new facility will serve as both a sales and technical support hub, offering same-day access to leading tooling brands such as Sandvik Coromant, ISCAR, Walter, Tungaloy, OSG, Sumitomo, Dormer Pramet, Vargus and Quickgrind.

The Blackburn team will also deliver on-site engineering support, tool vending solutions and cost-saving assessments, helping customers improve output, tool life and efficiency.

This milestone underlines Helix’s commitment to continued growth, innovation and service excellence within the UK manufacturing sector. “Our mission has always been simple,” added Lynch. “To help our customers achieve more - through smarter tooling, better technical support and a partnership they can depend on.”

Manufacturers across the North West are invited to connect with Helix Tool Company, it said, to learn more about how this expansion can help them achieve measurable productivity improvements, cost reductions and process optimisations.
